Historical Hike and Luncheon

Hike to the Black Mountain Lodge with local Summit County Historian Mary Ellen Gilliland as your guide.  Mary Ellen is known for her colorful story telling about the early gold rush days and ski escapades.

The hike up the Argentine-North Fork summer trail is approximately 45 minutes with a starting elevation of 10,800' and climbs to 11,500'.
