Through this storm we have reported 23 inches of snow and it is still snowing. We anticipate the snow to wind down today and then we are looking at a sunny, crisp, bluebird Thanksgiving weekend. We have officially shifted from twiddling our thumbs waiting for it to snow to "how are we going to get all this work done?" Molly Hogan opens Thanksgiving Day. Today we are putting a touch more man made snow on Sundance and it will be open by tomorrow. Lenawee Parks and Ramrod should be open just about all day. The Cat Drivers and Patrollers will get started on Cornice Run, West Wall, Grizzly and Slalom Slope. We might even get some winching done on Davis in The Beavers.
So, we are in the midst of a rapid transition. The snow is deep. We will be opening more terrain each day for several days. The skiing is about as good as it gets at Thanksgiving.
