Yesterday afternoon I had a beautiful afternoon ski hitting most of the zones on the mountain. There was great skiing to be had off of Pali and The Beavers Lift and, for that matter, LenX and BMX were great also. I found the hghlight to be Black Bear back in Montezuma Bowl. As I arrived, the sun popped out. The snow was soft and smooth and just perfect. That trail has such a fun, moderate pitch. It is easy to ski, yet full of adventure. It was fun.
