No suprise, Elk Meadows is an excellent place to spot elk just after dawn in the summer time. This morning I went for a wander out the Mountain Goat Traverse to that zone. It is a quiet a peaceful part of the mountain. I enjoy spending time there especially looking to the Northwest at West Zuma Bowl.
