There was a lot of weather at The Basin today. First thing this morning was sunny and windy. Despite a couple of wind holds (Montezuma and Beavers), we had some great skiing. Around mid-day, the winds died down, the snowfall picked up and the lift team got all of the chairlifts open. We had an exceptional burst of snow mid-afternoon and another burst started just after closing time. I suspect that we will be reporting several inches of new snow on Wednesday morning making for a very nice powder day.
