Opening Day: Nov. 2!

It’s finally here – at long last, the winter season has arrived! We will begin spinning lifts for the season on November 2, 2024, at 8:30 A.M. If you’re planning on ringing in another season with us, all the info you need is right here.

The details:

The Black Mountain Express will be running from 8:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. servicing High Noon.

Opening day is not only filled with good vibes at the start of our favorite season, but we have a fool-proof plan to make sure the party is always alive: First-come-first-serve donuts, stickers, and more in the lift line; the launch of our 6th Alley Mug Club (also first-come-first-serve if you are not renewing); and a local legend of a DJ at the base area.

Vibes? Check.

Please note: High Noon is a mountain-blue, intermediate run. Early-season snow conditions are unique and not suitable for first-timers. Opening day is not a beginner skier or rider experience, although you can still join in the fun with base area festivities. Our easiest runs take a few additional weeks to get open and require more snow.

Get me out there!

If you still need to purchase, get your lift ticket online and in advance! The earlier you buy, the more you save. Unrestricted Season Passes and Multi-Day Packs are still available for purchase!

If you’re a star pupil and have already purchased – great work! If you had a pass product last winter and still have your Basin Card, please re-use it. Your new product for this season has automatically been loaded onto your existing card. If this is your first time with an A-Basin pass product or it's been a while (you didn't get one last year) — We did not mail any pass or pack products. Please see us at one of our ticket windows to get your pass card. Stick it in your pocket and go straight to the lift; we have RFID scanners.

You get one free reprint. After that, a new Basin Card will be $5 each time. Please help us reduce waste and save some of your own cash!

Hungry?

The 6th Alley Bar & Grill, Legends Cafe, and Black Mountain Lodge will be open beginning November 2. These restaurants will be serving limited menus on opening day, but rest assured we will have plenty of Bacon Bloody Mary's on deck.

Forgot something?

Arapahoe Sports will be fully stocked with A-Basin gear, goggles, helmets, gloves, and tons of cool stuff.

Our tune shop and rental shop will be open on day one. Don’t forget to reserve your rentals online in advance for exclusive discounts! If you need a tune, drop your equipment in the rental shop and we will get it back to you as quickly as possible.

Looking for a refresh or just starting fresh? Snow Sports lessons start a little in November. Be sure to book those online in advance!
