Legends of The Legend introduces you to skiers and riders who are Arapahoe Basin regulars. To be a "local" doesn't necessarily mean you live here, or are the best on the mountain, or have been around for 40 years.
We're celebrating all kinds of locals who have come to know and love this place for their own reasons, and the extra effort they put in for their skiing or snowboarding passion. We appreciate these individuals who make time for our mountain in their busy lives, and invite you to get to know A-Basin through their eyes and experiences.
Our third episode features Sheila and Jaxon. Sheila is a long-term care hospice nurse (and former A-Basin lift operator). Her son Jaxon is in 6th grade and has been an A-Basin skier since the age of 2. Sheila has now done the A-Basin Enduro--a 10-hour charitable ski and ride event off the Pali Lift--18 times and they've done it together 3 times. Congrats to them and shoutout to "Mr. G."
