Beyond Skiing: Summer Activities and Scenic Vistas at Arapahoe Basin

Summertime is tied for our favorite season here at A-Basin for a reason: our mountain transforms into an oasis where you can beat the city heat and enjoy every kind of high-alpine activity. While our hill is often most known for legendary terrain, we offer outdoor recreation that allows for a little more R&R while you rest those ski legs over the summer.

Mountain Top Yoga

Our mountain top yoga is perfect for all levels, combining a morning flow with panoramic Rocky Mountain views. Classes, held every Tuesday at Black Mountain Lodge during summer, are led by experienced instructors guiding you through your class so you can enjoy a peaceful morning in nature and elevate your yoga practice.

Wildflower Hikes

As snow melts, our slopes bloom with wildflowers like Indian paintbrush, columbine, and lupine. We offer guided wildflower tours every other Monday of the summer. Join us for an educational and immersive hike, ideal for nature lovers and families. Capture the stunning beauty of these colorful meadows and learn about the diverse flora.

If your looking to go at your own pace, Arapahoe Basin offers hiking trails for all levels. Popular trails like the moderate Argentine-North Fork Trail which guides hikers from our base area to mid-mountain, rewarding hikers with Continental Divide views, wildflowers, and even a chairlift ride back down. For a challenge, the Lenawee Trail climbs to the summit, offering panoramic vistas. Reward yourself by hiking up to Steilhang for a brat with a view on weekends all summer long.

Disc Golf

The disc golf at Arapahoe Basin is an 18 hole course featuring various obstacles and offering challenges to all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a beginner, A-Basin’s disc golf promises a fun and memorable experience.
