How to take the free Summit Stage Bus

Our home of Summit County is served by a free bus system. It's one way to get here on a busy day when parking is limited.

COMING FROM DENVER? HERE IS WHAT TO DO.

Do not park at Keystone Resort -- it is not an official park-n-ride.

Your best option is to exit Silverthorne and get the bus, there. The bus pickup is on the same street that you enter the parking garage, Adams Ave. Silverthorne's large, free parking garage is adjacent Bluebird Market -- a food hall that is a great place to hang out and have a snack while you wait.

Swan Mountain Flyer services A-Basin. From Silverthorne, take the light blue Silverthorne-Dillon-Keystone bus, then transfer at Keystone to the Swan Mountain Flyer.

Summit Stage buses run hourly. The last bus leaves A-Basin at 5:10 PM. Track your bus via the app here

FINE PRINT: This isn't quick. Expect the ride from Silverthorne to A-Basin to take 1 hour and 15 minutes. Don't start from Frisco unless you must; that will require two bus transfers or going out of the way to Breck.

OR, DON'T DRIVE AT ALL AND TAKE THE SNOWSTANG

CDOT operates a comfy bus from downtown Denver and the Golden park-n-ride lots to A-Basin on weekends through May 7. Get a full day of skiing or riding with a relaxing ride to and from the Front Range.
